Questions
With humm, you pay no interest and a small deposit (standard deposit amount may vary from 0% – 20%). You will need to pay an establishment fee of $70 to set up your plan, but this can also be spread over the term of your payment plan!
The only recurring cost you will experience is an $9.95 monthly fee (per plan) for the duration of your plan, but keep in mind that you can make additional repayments at anytime or pay your plan out early with absolutely no penalties.

With Zip Money, when applying for Zip Money a one-off establishment fee up to $99 may apply along with a $9.95 monthly account fee. Monthly account fee is waived if nothing owing at the end of each month. No deposit is required on the day of purchase. Any balance outstanding at the expiry of the interest free period will be charged at the standard variable interest rate, 25.9% per annum, as at 1 June 2023. Patients can opt to fully pay out their plan with no penalties or additional costs.

With Humm, you can be approved for payment plans with values up to $20,000. When you apply with National Dental Plan, we will assess your application and then advise you of any limits to your plan on a case-by-case basis.
With Zip Money, you can apply for up to $30,000 and 48 months interest free.*
With Humm a deposit is required, when you start your payment plan, the standard deposit amount may vary from 0% – 20%. You may be approved for a lower deposit amount, all the way down to 0%!
With Zip Money, you pay nothing on the day of treatment, your repayment date will be advised in the Zip app once you have made a purchase, this usually falls at the end of each calendar month.
With Zip Money, repayments are automatically direct debited from the payment method that you added when you created the account. You can change the payment method at any time and the frequency of your payments to weekly, fortnightly or monthly as long as you’re covering the minimum monthly repayments. Choose what works best for you.
With Humm, payments are made fortnightly and are set up to be debited directly from your nominated bank account or credit card.
With humm, if you do not have sufficient funds in your nominated account, the Direct Debit will be reattempted on the same day that the bank notifies us that it has been unsuccessful (except on non-business days). If the payment is unsuccessful again, we will then attempt to contact the patient via phone, email, SMS and post to re-establish the payment plan. Late fees apply.
With Zip Money, if you don’t make your minimum monthly repayment amount each month (or the remaining balance if less), a late fee of $15 for Zip Money may be charged If your direct debit repayment is rejected by your bank or fails, a $5 dishonour fee will be charged to your account.
Absolutely! And there aren’t any extra fees for doing so.

Before you apply, there are some criteria you need to meet.
- 18+ years old.
- Be a permanent resident of Australia.
- Hold a valid Australian ID.
- Have a regular source of income.
Zip Money
- Aged 18 years or older
- An Australian citizen or Permanent resident
- Has a personal and verifiable email address and mobile number
- Recieving regular income
- Clean and well established credit history
Patients can apply via the QR code instore or via the Zip website.
